Forklift Truck Hire
Hiring a forklift is often the best way, not only to discover the best forklift to suit your needs, but also to finance your materials handling needs in the early days of your business, or its warehousing requirements
You can (to a certain extent) afford to make a mistake when hiring, depending on the forklift lease terms of course and very often, the person from whom you are leasing your forklift is every bit as keen as you are to help you find the right forklift for your needs. After all, if they help you lease or hire your first forklift, they will be keen that you sign up for more forklifts, or at least renew your forklift hire agreement when the time comes to renew. Very often, the people hiring you your forklift also have a sales arm and as often as not, they also sell used stock to existing hire customers.
So, you get a chance to test the water (and maybe even try out the forklift you will end up buying) without going to the full expense of buying up front. Nowadays, with the cost f the forklift being significant, many forklift hire and lease companies can also arrange the purchase, or lease finance funds for you in house. Assuming there is no great financial penalty for doing this (beware, some forklift leasing companies do add a hefty premium for arranging finance) but assuming that is not the case, you can be in a better position if you make your supplier responsible for the cash also. If you ever need service that you are not getting, threatening to withhold payment is so much more effective when it is actually the sipplier that will suffer by it, rather than some anonymous bank or finance house.
However, if you choose to use the services offered on our pages, we are confident that you can happily avoid this kind of strife in your forklift hiring process.
